Your just like me. The Stargirl Series is absolutely the best book(s) I ever read. I say that about quite a few books but after I read the Stargirl books. I was depressed, apathetic, and I just wanted to give up on life. I was laying in bed thinking about sneaking out and finding a rope in the garage. I could easily tie it around one of the rafters and proceed to hang myself, never having to deal with the pain in life again. But then I thought about somthing a friend of mine said. Two simple words: stay positive. I know it sounds so easy but it really saved my life. That and the passage from “Love, Stargirl” that basically says to live for today, not for tomorrow. Today might totally suck, and all the days that lead up to that, but you should make tomorrow a new day. Make tomorrow better. These things helped me get over my depression.

stargirl showed me how life should be it opend my eyes and i converted to be a democrat because of the book showed me that i should pick up trash not leave it there and that i should help old people across the street instead of walking by

the book just speaks to me i love stargirl its my bible too makes me cry everytime i read it (which is like 47 times) i am now 33 pages into my 48 time
